Certifications
✓Applicants must pass a fingerprint criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks including the Client Abuse/Neglect Reporting System (CANRS), Nurse Aid, Medication Aide and Employee Misconduct, List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
✓Males between the ages of 18-25 must be registered with the Selective Service.
Education
✓Associate degree and a minimum of twelve months’ experience in rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, social work, education.’
✓No degree and a minimum of three years of experience in rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, social work, education, or a related field required.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major casework in rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, social work, education, or a related field is generally preferred, and a minimum of six months experience in rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, social work, education
Qualifications
✓One year of experience in social and rehabilitative services work or in teaching and counseling people with mental health challenges, varied disabilities.
