✓Repair minor problems with equipment.
✓Ability to communicate in person with patients, family, staff and visitors.
✓Ability to work with a team.
✓Recognizes safety problems and make the appropriate correction.
✓Able to read
✓write legibly
✓use computer and software programs necessary to the position
✓troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
✓Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
✓be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies
✓work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
✓lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate
✓accept direction.
✓Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone

Job Summary: The Rehabilitation Technician-1 assists each discipline in rehabilitation (physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, speech pathology) in performing specific tasks as assigned to promote a smooth and efficient operation.
