✓Other secondary coding certifications as applicable.
Qualifications
✓2–5 years of professional fee/revenue cycle coding experience or equivalent experience/training.
✓Current professional fee coding experience in PICU and/or Neonatology.
✓Experience with pediatric E/M and procedure coding.
✓Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding conventions, and clinical documentation requirements.
✓Knowledge of federal, state, and commercial payer coding and billing standards.
✓Prior healthcare experience.
✓Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and business partners and successfully complete required UCSF systems training.
Professional fee coding experience with Pediatric Gastroenterology procedures. preferred
