Certifications
CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) certification preferred.
Education
✓High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Education or coursework related to healthcare, medical insurance, or a related field preferred.

✓Knowledge of healthcare insurance requirements preferred.

✓Ability to perform cashiering and payment-processing functions accurately.

✓Proficiency with personal computers and the Windows operating environment.
Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute preferred
Three to five years of customer service experience preferred, with experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred.
About the role
Reports directly to the Departmental Manager/Supervisor and is responsible for completing patient admission and registration processes, as well as other financial functions related to admissions.
