While this position does not function as an independent researcher, all Research Assistant I activities serve the research goal. The successful Research Assistant I will be highly flexible, able to undertake a number of tasks on a number of different projects simultaneously and will take the initiative to become familiar with all aspects of assigned programs. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator and management of the Research Supervisor as applicable, the Research Assistant I will provide research and administrative support for community, public health, and health services research programs; and will help strengthen the organization’s capacity to better serve and improve public health and healthcare efforts.

Organizes and maintains program-related documents, databases, and resources, maintaining notes for internal and external meetings as requiredCompletes and manages appropriate data collection in a timely and efficient manner as required by internal and external regulatory and funding agencies, as well as research protocolsAssists with data clean-up efforts, interview transcription and research coding, per research protocolsAssists with program subject recruitment and enrollment, per research protocolsSchedules activities in support of the research programAssists with contacting appropriate collaborators in order to institute and organize program-related meetings and eventsAssists with the development, promotion, and dissemination of research materials and productsDelivers presentations both internally and externally in support of the research programMaintains good working relationships with those who are involved in the research program, as well as other departments in the organizationPurchases equipment and supplies within budgetAssists with strengthening communications and relationships with community members and organizations involved with the research programAssists in advocacy activities promoting the mission of the research programAttends research meetings and seminars as required or requestedPerforms similar or related duties as requested or directed What we need from youEducation:4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in appropriate disciplineExperience may be considered in lieu of educationLicensure/Certifications:As required by the specific research program, requiredSkills:CommunicationComputer SkillsPhysical

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
