Job Summary Involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of research data. Designs and conducts research including selecting data samples, developing research instruments, analyzing collected information according to established statistical methods, and developing recommendations based on research findings. Prepares reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to interpret and communicate data and results.

Responsibilities Statistical and Data Analysis Under direct supervision, performs basic statistical and data analysis. Research Data Collection and Preparation Collects research data and prepares it for analysis. Study Design and Survey Development Assists with study design proposals and survey instruments.

Research Instruments and Data Sources Supports testing of research instruments and data sources. Data Reporting Products Assists with evaluation and research of data reporting products. Data Storage, Documentation and Dissemination Develops knowledge in areas of storage, documentation and dissemination of computerized data.

Required Qualifications Ability to effectively manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion on deadline. Basic consultation and communication skills.

Acquiring knowledge of research function. Acquiring ability to perform research analysis duties. Acquiring statistical analysis, systems programming, and database design skills to perform research analysis duties.

EDUCATION Required Education Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. LICENSES None listed. CERTIFICATIONS None listed.
