Licensure
✓Current State LPN License.
✓High School Diploma or GED and LPN diploma and Licensure.
✓Acquires a minimum of ten hours of continuing nursing education in addition to mandatory licensure requirements.
Certifications
✓Meets all technical certification requirements defined by unit (i.e. BLS, ACLS, PALS).
✓Maintains records that provide evidence of competency and acquired knowledge, skills, and certification necessary for practice setting.
Education
✓New graduate LPNs or those with less than one year of experience will be referred to the LPN residency program.
Qualifications
✓Previous experience in a clinical setting. Minimum of 2 years experience is preferred (but not required.)
✓The LPN participates in educational activities to improve clinical knowledge and enhance role performance.
