✓Experience administering a student conduct process and skills in interpreting, enforcing and explaining to residents University Policies.
✓Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
✓Valid California Driver’s license Experience administering a student conduct process and skills in interpreting, enforcing and explaining to residents University Policies.

Qualifications
✓Ability to organize, implement, evaluate resident events and activities within a purposeful community development context.
✓Thorough knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
✓Abilities in project management, problem identification and reasoning skills.
✓Skill in counseling individual students and groups of students of diverse backgrounds regarding personal and academic needs
✓knowledge of campus resources for referrals.
✓Strong communication skills and ability to interact successfully in a diverse setting.
✓Knowledge of student development theory to the student housing population.
✓Ability to develop, implement and monitor budget, and maintain accurate records of expenditures.
✓Thorough knowledge of Student Affairs / Student Life specialization.
✓Knowledge in diversity and multicultural education.
✓Skills in judgment and decision-making, problem solving, identifying measures of system performance and the actions to improve performance.
✓Ability to develop original ideas to solve problems.
✓Ability to respond in a rational and level-headed manner in a crisis or emergency situation using effective crisis management techniques.
✓Ability to recruit, select, train, supervise and evaluate staff.
✓Required to hold a valid drivers license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
✓As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct
