What Makes This Role Different?
As an Inpatient Resource Nurse, you'll partner with Charge Nurses and frontline nursing teams to provide hands-on clinical support, improve patient flow, and help ensure safe, efficient patient care. Your Day May Include: Supporting nurses with assessments, medications, IV access, treatments, and other clinical needs. Assisting with admissions, discharges, transfers, and patient throughput.
Providing additional clinical support during periods of high census, increased acuity, or staffing challenges. Serving as a clinical resource and mentor while helping nurses navigate changing patient care priorities. Supporting safe patient handoffs, timely documentation, and coordinated care across inpatient units.
Additional
Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience Two years of recent acute care RN experience preferred.
Strong medical-surgical clinical skills, IV proficiency, and excellent prioritization abilities. Previous Charge Nurse, Resource Nurse, or preceptor experience preferred. Licensure & Certifications Current South Carolina RN license or multistate compact RN privilege required.
