Licensure
✓Licensure as a Respiratory Care practitioner by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance
Certifications
✓Credentialing by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required
✓Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
✓ACLS and/ or PALS, NP, and/or Stable (defined by area of clinical focus)
Maintains one advanced credential ACCS, NPS, RPFT, Asthma Educator AE-C, HBO Credential CHT, IP Certification. preferred
Education
✓Associate’s degree
✓Graduate from an AMA approved program by the National Board of Respiratory Care in Respiratory Therapy is required.
Bachelors' Degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Three (3) years progressively responsible professional experience as a Respiratory Therapist, or equivalent

About the role

Under general supervision of the Respiratory Care Director and Managers, supervises and monitors the daily work activities of an assigned group of Respiratory Care Practitioners performing respiratory therapy techniques and procedures. Fulfillment of the job duties requires the employee to have access to medication storage areas.
