Troubleshoots and takes steps to correct clinical problems; refers unusual circumstances to supervision. Job RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement:Graduate of a school for Respiratory Care. Minimum Experience Requirement:Prior experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of acid/base/electrolyte relationships and implications of life threatening situations preferred, not required. Establishes patient ventilator settings using metric measurements/advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, time relationships preferred, not required. Minimum License Requirement:BLS certification required.
ACLS, NRP and PALS preferred. Appropriate NYS licensure. CRT - Certified by National Board for Respiratory Care.
