Certifications
✓Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care
✓Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) training is prior to providing patient care
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
✓Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) training is required within 6 months of hire for Respiratory NICU staff and to be maintained thru duration of employment
✓ACLS and PALS is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
Education
✓Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an American Medical Association approved school of respiratory care required
Qualifications
✓Must have 2+ year of critical care experience
✓Leadership experience
✓Training in all aspects of Respiratory Care
