You’ll need
Licensure
✓Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Required
✓Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required for those in supervisory positions.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
Certifications
✓Licensing as required by the state of employment.
Education
✓Associate Degree from accredited program in respiratory therapy.
Qualifications
✓Ability to use initiative, take responsibility and self-organize in a team environment.
✓Ability to work under pressure & handle competing priorities.
✓Ability to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary patient/resident care team.
✓Ability to interact positively with staff, physicians, patients & family members.
✓Good verbal and written communication skills.
✓Approximate percent of time required to travel: 0-10%
✓Must read, write and speak fluent English.
✓Must have good and regular attendance.
✓One-year general Respiratory Therapy clinical experience

About the role
Plan, implement and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist in the management of patient/residents with cardiopulmonary and related disorders. Provide technical support for all equipment related to the nursing center-based practice of Respiratory Therapy. Provide training and competency testing to nursing departments.
