Location Wayne Medical Center 103 J V Mangubat Drive Waynesboro, TN 38485 Shift Full Time Weekdays. 3 shifts per week, 7:00am – 7:00pm Job Summary Performs all Respiratory Therapy procedures according to protocols of the Respiratory Therapy Department and keeps the protocols maintained. Maintains the highest standards of patient care.
Plans, manages, and coordinates operation of the Respiratory Department. Manages all personnel, equipment, budgetary and supply needs for the department. Maintains records and guidelines required for Joint Commission and State Lab Licensure.
Responsibilities Assists in assigning and maintaining current policy approval flow and training staff for utilization. Assists with hiring as needed to maintain current staffing requirements as established by administration. Assists with the yearly budget and capital needs.
Communicate with staff on a consistent basis, establishing goals and maintaining huddle boards, etc. Establishes unit goals based on critical success factors, incorporating PI methods to improve patient care delivery, safety and quality outcomes. In conjunction with CNO, prepare, review & submit annual performance appraisals for staff.
Maintain staff records including license, certifications and competencies. Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy. Scheduling of shifts, daily changes reviewed, maintain supply needs and equipment for department.
