You’ll need
Licensure
✓Must have current licensure in good standing to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in State(s) of Practice.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS)
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
✓Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
✓Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Education
✓Graduate of accredited program and eligible for registry as an RRT is required
Qualifications
✓Must have at least three (3) years of Respiratory Care experience, at least two (2) of which must be in direct clinical care. This may be waived in certain circumstances by the Respiratory Care department leadership
✓Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
