• Monday-Friday, 6:00pm-6:30am We’re seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist to join our team! The Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care. This position provides leadership and direction to respiratory care staff, including scheduling, staffing, and professional development. The Lead collaborates with physicians, offices, and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with established respiratory care standards. Responsibilities Serves as the clinical expert as it pertains to field of respiratory care and associated information/reporting systems. Provide respiratory care modalities, therapies and diagnostic testing; including oxygen therapies and medication delivery. Provides education to the patient and their family. Intubation (not required, but within the scope of practice). Process and provide various equipment, necessary to carry out assigned duties including diagnostic and ventilator support of patients both invasive and non-invasive. Pulmonary Function Testing equipment, including but not limited to; PF Screening equipment, Comprehensive Pulmonary Function Testing equipment, Humidifiers, O2 therapy related equipment, aerosols, pulse oximetry, nebulizers, inhalers, and applicable medications, mechanical percussors, bedside pulmonary screeners, EKG's , volume expansion therapy, emergency airway equipment, adult ventilation (noninvasive only), ABG procurement. Qualifications

Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program

Must have least 1 year of clinical experience . License(s)/Certification(s): Illinois and Iowa Respiratory Care Licensure Registered Respiratory Therapy Therapist with NBRC CPR upon hire ACLS/NRP within 6 months of hire *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
