The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies.
She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.

National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or, National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. 5 years - Experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy.
Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
