Functions as a direct patient care giver under the supervision of a Supervisor or assigned Team Leader.
Holds a current Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). Credentials: Holds a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
If Required Check and Initial. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire or transfer to department. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer to department.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer to department. Neonate Resuscitation Program (NRP) through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire or transfer to department. STABLE Completion within 6 months of hire or transfer to department.
Neonatal Pediatric Specialty credentials within 18 months of hire.
