Today, Texas NeuroRehab Center provides complex medical and brain injury rehab for ages 13 years and older and neurobehavioral residential treatment services for children and adolescents. • PRN. This candidate will administers all modes of Respiratory Care including ventilator management, routine therapy, diagnostic testing and electrocardiography. Additional responsibilities include equipment maintenance/processing, infection control, and safety as well as assistance with Cardiopulmonary Emergency procedures and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), when needed, and other duties as assigned. SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Thorough knowledge of long-term respiratory care including ventilator skills, airway management, ACLS, as well as standard modalities of Respiratory Therapy. Must have good verbal communication and writing skill. Able to achieve AHA-ACLS certification within six months of employment EDUCATION. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Certification and/or Registry Program in Respiratory care or equivalent requirements which qualify him/her for the "grandfather clause" of the Texas Respiratory Act. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current Driver’s License or State issued Id. Licensed by the State of Texas as a Respiratory Therapist. Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist preferred.

Three years as an RCP preferred, with at least one year in an Acute Care Hospital setting. PHYSICAL/GENERAL
