You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
Certifications
✓Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
✓AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). preferred
Education
✓Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related healthcare field. preferred
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated clinical experience in respiratory care within a hospital or acute care setting.
Experience working in critical care, neonatal, or pediatric respiratory therapy. preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and respiratory care documentation software. preferred
Strong background in patient education and interdisciplinary team collaboration. preferred

About the role
Assesses plans, administers, and evaluates patients receiving all respiratory care modalities as ordered by a physician or as delineated by medical center protocols.
