Position Highlights: Position: Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level I - Nights Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL Per Diem Level I - Must be able to work 48 hours every 6 weeks. 24 of those hours must be on the weekend. Hours: Days will vary Monday-Friday from 7pm - 7:30am, with holidays requirements.
Assists Physicians, as requested with Respiratory Therapy procedures Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients Provide patient and staff education What you will need:
