✓Monitor the progress of assignments, performance of daily responsibilities, and personnel issues for all assigned team members in a proactive and timely manner providing coaching and corrective action as necessary.
✓Manage labor expenses where appropriate for assigned areas of responsibility.
✓Manage team member compliance with time and attendance policies.
Supervisory experience preferred.

About the role

The Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing specific areas of pharmacy services, programs and personnel; responsible for ensuring safe, timely, efficient, compliant, and productive workflows and care delivery in the service areas of their oversight; may be responsible for the direct supervision, scheduling, and/or work delegation of any combination of pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, support staff, or pharmacy learner in their service areas of oversight; may be responsible for providing medication therapy management services, both clinical and distributive tasks as necessary, in collaboration with other providers to assure that drug therapy is safe, effective, efficient and cost-effective (pharmacy services provided may include, but are not limited to, medication distribution, interdisciplinary patient care rounds, medication history oversight, patient education, medication therapy monitoring, medication orders management, drug information, drug dosing, and various scholarly activities); acts independently within the scope of their license and areas of expertise with the help of general policies, procedures and practice guidelines with support from Pharmacy Leadership; may be required to act in the capacity of another pharmacy leader in their absence or when designated to do so.
