Position Details: *Sign on Bonus for both New Grads & Experienced RN's* NO CONTRACT The Mercy Joplin MedSurg Service Line is made up of several specialty units that will provide experience with patient populations with a varying range of diagnoses and care needs. Functionally, these units house and care for patients who are preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions.

Our Ortho-Neuro Unit is a 24-private bed unit that cares for orthopedic (both surgical and non-surgical), stroke and a wide variety of neurological conditions. Our Nurses work on a support team of educators, PCA/PCT's, Case Managers, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, PT/OT and Speech Therapists.
You will have the opportunity to receive your NIH Stroke Certification. **Great stepping stone into our ICU and ED units**
Required
Nursing Degree from an accredited school License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association Incentives: This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus, paid out over 2 years.
