✓In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must maintain timely completion of all required education, trainings, and certifications as assigned and in accordance with Bozeman Health policies, department-specific requirements, applicable certification program
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certification. preferred
Education
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN). preferred
Qualifications
✓Current AHA Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
✓Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Course within six (6) months of hire or prior to independent chemotherapy administration.
✓Demonstrated competency or training in IV therapy, central line management, and medication administration.
✓Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
✓Exercise tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality.
✓Learn current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health.
✓Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
✓Analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
✓Demonstrate the Bozeman Health SPIRIT values of: Service, People, Integrity, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork.
One (1) year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in oncology, outpatient infusion, emergency, or critical care. preferred
Experience with pediatric infusion or oncology. preferred

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, administering infusion therapies, managing vascular access devices, monitoring patient responses, and providing patient and family education.
