Cardiac Cath Lab Overview The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) at George Washington University Hospital is a specialized, high-acuity unit dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Our Cath Lab features advanced technology and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering innovative and patient-centered cardiac care. The unit handles a wide range of procedures—from routine diagnostic catheterizations to complex interventional therapies—serving a diverse patient population from across the region.
Our Cath Lab nurses deliver advanced cardiac diagnostics and interventions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
