$20,000 7S is a cardiac telemetry unit specializing in heart failure management. Nurses on the unit are trained to care for patients with Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), gaining valuable experience in advanced cardiac therapies. New graduate nurses can expect to begin VAD training after six months on the unit, while experienced nurses will receive VAD training after orientation POSITION PURPOSE The Acute Care RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating with the interdisciplinary team; and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.
