Licensure
✓Active Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, American Heart Association.
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), American Heart Association. preferred
Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Certification. preferred
Education
✓Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; 3 to 5 years preferred.
✓Strong nursing and clinical assessment skills.
✓Proficiency in vital sign monitoring, specimen collection, labeling, and transport.
✓Experience with medication administration and vaccine management.
✓Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency.
✓Strong computer and healthcare software skills.
✓Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in a physician practice, ambulatory clinic, Emergency Department (ED), Cardiology, or Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) setting preferred.
