- Job DutiesResponsible for all aspects of research coordination for research studies; Responsible for research specific quality nursingcare for patients participating in clinical trials. Work with modality supervisors for completion of site questionnaires,implementation of imaging protocol and coordinate services for research patients. ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
- Plan, implement and monitor participant recruitment and retention procedures.
- Interpret and implement protocol procedures and policy.
- Screen and interview study participants. Review lab and procedure results.
- Maintain case report forms, charts and documentation.
- Review protocols from other departments that include radiology services and prepare detailed responses
- Dispense medication and maintain records.
- Assures that adverse events are reported in timely fashion.
- Maintain Regulatory documents as mandated by FDA regulations.
- Assist/prepare initial institutional review board (IRB0 and regulatory document submissions. Appropriately submitdocuments to the IRB.
- Assist/prepare and submit documentation to institutional review board (initial review, renewals, revisions, AE, protocol deviations)
- Other duties as assigned QualificationsExperience Requirements2 years Nursing requiredUp to 1 year Experience in entering data onto systems such as Rave and DataTrak preferredUp to 1 year Ability to perform EKGs, perform phlebotomy, spin blood, prepare specimens for shipping, andhave certification of transport of biological materials. preferredEducation RequirementsBachelors Nursing preferredAssociates Nursing requiredHigh School Diploma requiredCertification/Licensure RequirementRegistered Nurse (RN) required at time of hireBasic Life Support (BLS) preferred at time of hireNCLEX-RN required UFJPI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace
