Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting. Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and minor procedures. Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
Partner with providers and clinic staff to support timely, coordinated patient care. Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a clear and compassionate manner. Assist with telephone triage, patient questions, and follow-up regarding health concerns and progress.
Document patient care, interventions, and clinical information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Provide coverage and support across Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Wound Care, General Surgery, and other specialty services. Contribute to efficient daily clinic operations and a positive, team-oriented patient experience.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Must have a current license or certificate in the state of Iowa High school diploma or equivalent is required Understand the concepts, principles and practices of a clinic setting Must be able to read, write, and speak English
