✓Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. preferred
Education
✓If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
Qualifications
✓One (1) year of nursing experience.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience preferred.
Experience caring for neonates in Level II, III, or IV neonatal settings preferred.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and family-centered care skills. preferred

About the role

UNC Rex Holly Springs Women's & Children's Services is a growing department dedicated to providing exceptional care for mothers, newborns, and families in Southern Wake County and the surrounding communities. Our 12-bed Women's & Children's Unit cares for postpartum patients, newborns, stable antepartum patients, and patients recovering from minor gynecologic procedures.
