This position will demonstrate competency in the care of the (Circle all that apply): Neonate, Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric patient population. The Community Health Activities Manager is responsible for planning and coordination of health related activities in his/her assigned facility. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, service promotion, public, community and media relations, and the scheduling of all health educational sessions, healthcare screenings and clinics.
He/she demonstrates sensitivity and understanding of the diverse cultural backgrounds of the population served. This position may be required to cross train within the agency. Responsibilities in secondary position may require access to medical records and other computer access exceeding routine computer usage.
Access to patient information may be necessary to fulfill the requirements of this role: therefore, adherence to Ballad Health privacy and security policies and practices is a must.
Must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Licenses and
Must be licensed as a RN in the appropriate state with the Board of Nursing. Must possess and maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and complete required continuing education programs and competency evaluations. Work
