The RN Coordinator Operations coordinates the tasks and processes within the Orthopedic, Neuro or Thoracic service lines, while providing direct and indirect nursing care under approved patient care protocols in the Orthopedic, Neuro or Thoracic service lines.

GENERAL DUTIES In the performance of duties, the RN Coordinator Operations uses financial indicators to create reports, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations for operational efficiencies. Provides direct and indirect nursing care within the perioperative function of Orthopedic, Neuro, or Thoracic service lines, which includes but not limited to block scheduling, attending to patients before, during, and post surgeries. Provides post-surgery care to patients as well as care and discharge instructions to both patients and family members. Collaborates with other team members in other departments to complete tasks or projects. Generates operational reports on periodic and scheduled frequencies. Promotes excellent customer service by supporting all quality initiatives. Supports and contributes to all quality initiatives through effective coordination of projects and deliverables.
