Licensure
✓Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Louisiana.
Certifications
Certification in transplant nursing (CCTC, CPTC, or equivalent). preferred
Education
✓Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
✓Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
✓Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
✓Experience with UNOS/OPTN regulations and reporting requirements.
✓Knowledge of transplant patient management and regulatory requirements.
✓Ability to coordinate complex care across multiple disciplines.
✓Strong patient education and counseling skills.
✓Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
✓Ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond effectively in urgent situations.
✓Proficiency in electronic medical records and transplant data systems.
