Certifications
✓Current American Heart Association, Healthcare Provider, BLS and ACLS certification
Advanced nursing certification in one or more areas of practice (e.g. CCRN, TNCC) preferred
Education
✓Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 3 years nursing experience to include emergency and critical care experience. While a mixture of this experience is acceptable, the candidate must have at MINIMUM, two years of CVICU or CTICU experience.
✓Must demonstrate leadership abilities and critical thinking skills and autonomous practice in the setting of hemodynamically unstable patients, critically ill patients, patients with airway or respiratory compromise, acute myocardial infarction and / or multi system organ failure.
✓Clinical experience with ECMO, cardiac assists devices, and advanced ventilation techniques
One (1) year of recent ECMO experience preferred
Critical Care transport experience (ground and air) preferred
