We are seeking a flexible, highly skilled Emergency Department (ED) Float Pool RN to join our nursing team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, adaptable care across various nursing units based on daily hospital needs.
Job Details Responsibilities Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry step down patients (including conditions such as chest pains, positive troponin, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and arrhythmias) Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses / RNs and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. Requirements Passion for Cardiology 1+ years of experience Experience reading cardiac monitors preferred
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: ACLS and BLS required from the American Heart Association Posted Salary Range USD $58.16 - USD $83.99 /Hr.
