On-call; 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am; Hours dependent on department needs The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care. He/she directs and provides patient/family teaching. The RN provides leadership when working with health team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Requirements Previous ER or Med/Surg experience required. Current Iowa license. Graduate from an approved professional Nursing Program.
BLS and ACLS required. TNCC preferred. PALS Preferred.
NRB preferred. Takes responsibility for pursuit of continuing education.
