Administers, oversees and documents the administration of medications (e.g., topically, orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously and intravenously) as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy. Assesses patient to include physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs.
