Identifies concomitant health + social needs of patients Ensures proper discharge instructions and medication reconciliation including follow-up referral Assists with bedside interventional procedures Documents patients pain assessment, pain goal and documents prn effectiveness of pain medications within 1 hour of administration Administers Stat medications within one half hour of physicians order Verifies all physician orders in Careview Demonstrates proficiency is administration of emergency medications and drips Reports any changes in patients condition immediately to either Hospitalist or Attending Physician.
Documents for restraints done per protocol. Completes documentation for patient transfers to another facility Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by completing their assignments and charting within the designated time of their shift Initiates DVT prophylaxis when appropriate Proficient in neuromuscular blocking agents and train of four EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
Current NJ State RN license BSN preferred BLS, ACLS certifications - AHA approved Minimum of 2 Years of experience in Intensive Care Unit
