Our Imaging Department offers 24/7 radiology services, such as mammography, ultrasound, bone density, MRI, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, vascular radiology and interventional radiology. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, patient-centered nursing care to individuals receiving diagnostic and therapeutic services across a variety of healthcare settings.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality care while promoting patient safety, comfort, and support throughout the treatment experience. Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and critical thinking skills are essential in this dynamic care environment. Experience in critical care is beneficial, while backgrounds in medical-surgical nursing with strong critical thinking abilities are also highly valued.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. + on-call requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in various healthcare settings. Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
Perform telephone triage and call rotations. Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications. Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning. Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care. Educate patients and families.
