Job Summary and Qualifications The Manager ER is responsible for assisting the Director with the management of the day-to-day operation of the ER and is responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel.
The Manager also creates a common vision to facilitate continuous quality improvement in the delivery of patient care in support of the organizations mission and vision. The Manager assumes the role as leader in planning, organizing, coaching, and facilitating his/her department functions in collaboration with the Director and staff to assure quality service is provided. Responsible for helping the Director meet JCAHO standards, complying with the organizations policies and procedures, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all healthcare providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management.
