FT Days Sign-On Bonus: up to $20,000 with a 24-month commitment 0 to 2 years of
$12,000 bonus 2 to 5 years of
$15,000 bonus Greater than 5 years of
$20,000 bonus Sign-On Bonus is based on verified years of relevant NICU experience. Additional eligibility requirements may apply.
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care Assists physicians during examinations and procedures Triages patients Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs a variety of tasks A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas BLS and ACLS certifications NRP certification Suicide Prevention Certification PALS and COAP preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
