Our busy, high-performing surgical department offers a dynamic and rewarding practice environment: Eight state-of-the-art operating suites 24/7 surgical services coverage 30-40 surgeries performed each weekday Dedicated multidisciplinary teams including RNs, specialty technologists, CNAs, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff Exposure to diverse and complex surgical cases across multiple specialties Surgical Specialties Include: Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery General Surgery Gynecologic Surgery Neurosurgery Orthopedic Surgery, including Total Joint Replacement Robotic-Assisted Surgery Urologic Surgery Trauma Surgery Plastic Surgery ENT Procedures Dental Surgery Ophthalmologic Surgery
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will provide expert perioperative care while serving as an integral member of the surgical team. You'll assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care throughout the surgical experience, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes for every patient. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members while contributing to a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with evidence-based practice standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care Document patient care accurately and timely within the electronic health record Coordinate and delegate care appropriately to support team members Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical colleagues Support patient safety, quality initiatives, infection prevention, and departmental goals Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire Minimum of two years of Operating Room circulating experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a Periop 101 program within six months Demonstrated clinical competence in perioperative nursing
