Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement Spencer Hospital is proud to employ highly skilled and caring staff members. We offer competitive salaries and benefits as well as a pleasant work environment. Position Highlights Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees.

Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. Spencer Hospital Surgery Center performs a multitude of specialties including: general, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, and endoscopy averaging 550+ surgeries per month.

Surgery business hours are Mon-Fri with minimal on call weekend and holiday rotations.

Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Operating Room area Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients

One year experience as an Surgery RN Circulator preferred Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems Active IA RN license or compact state BLS and ACLS are required or at time of hire (in-house education provided) Schedule - Two Shifts Available: 70 hours a pay period Mon-Fri; 6:30a-5p Minimal on-call weeknights and weekend rotation The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!
