Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has served the greater San Diego community since 1924. Scripps La Jolla shares a campus with the Barbey Family Emergency and Trauma Center, a Level I Trauma Center, and the renowned Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. We’re also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care, heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services (including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center. This is a benefited, part time position generally working two 10-hr day shifts per week with a Saturday rotation once per month.

Build meaningful relationships with patients as you support them on their recovery journey and return to everyday life. Use both your clinical and teaching skills —providing hands-on nursing care while empowering patients through education.
Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Required Experience/Specialized
1 year experience. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English. Excellent interpersonal skills.
