Job Summary and Qualifications The Quality and Risk Management Specialist is responsible for assisting with the quality and risk management functions of the hospital with a specific focus on patient advocacy and safety.
Assist in the diplomatic resolution of customer service issues from around the facility. Assist with disclosure of reviews and/or events to patients and/or families in accordance with organizational policy and regulations. Facilitate thorough and credible review of grievances and complaints that address both system and individual accountability.
Work with facility leaders and managers to endure thorough, credible and timely grievance and complaint management. Assist with SEA/RCA process, Occurrence Reporting process, and the Clinical Safety Improvement Program initiatives. Utilizing knowledge and research in the development of evidence-based initiatives.
Entering data into databases and programs. Identifies and develops tools and techniques that simplify work, improve communication and make processes more reliable and consistent. Pulling medical record needed for review.
