This unique opportunity combines your pediatric nursing expertise with the autonomy and flexibility of home care. As a Pediatric Visiting Nurse, you'll provide comprehensive in-home assessments and skilled nursing care, utilizing clinical skills similar to those used in an urgent care setting. Working closely with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while helping children receive the treatment they need in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

What You’ll Do: Perform pediatric home visits Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations Monitor and document vital signs, pulse oximetry readings, and overall patient status Complete in the moment calls with physician Administer skilled nursing care and treatments as ordered by the physician Perform flu, strep, and COVID testing as needed Obtain laboratory specimens, including blood draws when required Initiate and manage IV therapy as ordered Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, and treatment plans Communicate changes in condition to physicians.
