You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Texas (or BNE Compact State) license
Certifications
✓(BLS) & (ACLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required as well as PALS and NIHSS
✓Specialty areas may have increased certification/license requirements as dictated by unit or standard of care.
✓The RRT RN is required to work a minimum of one shift every two weeks in a critical care setting providing direct patient care.
Education
✓Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
3.BSN preferred
Qualifications
✓1 year of RN experience.
Three or more years exp in the ICU setting or Strong Emergency Department experience preferred
Three years of critical care (ICU) experience strongly preferred
