Vincent’s East with 15 telemetry beds and eight intermediate care beds. We care for patients recovering from structural cardiac procedures like transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO), and transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR). Our team also cares for patients with certain cardiac conditions like chest pain, arrythmias, and congestive heart failure.
As part of a certified team trained in responsive care, you’ll provide continuous telemetry, medication management, and skilled interventions in a supportive environment. This unit offers a rotating schedule that includes a work requirement every fourth weekend.
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND Required professional licensure at time of hire.
