WORK SCHEDULE 100% FTE Three different shifts support the unit (10-hour shifts starting at 06:00, 08:30 & 10:30) No "Call" DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Cardiovascular Procedures Unit (CVPU) at University of Washington Medical Center–Montlake provides specialized cardiovascular procedural care across the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Interventional Cardiac Recovery Unit (ICRU) .

Provide direct care to patients being admitted and recovered for procedures in the CARDIAC CATH and EP Labs IV therapy, pre-procedure assessment and preparation, post-procedure recovery, access site management, and pre-post patient/family teaching prior to discharge or transfer to the inpatient Cardiology Services Support cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, implantable loop recorders and moderate sedation procedures REQUIREMENTS Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington At least 2 years of cardiac, telemetry, or Interventional radiology experience Current BLS & ACLS Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for
