Day Hours: 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:30a - 4:30p Recruiter Contact: Monica Echeverri at mecheverri@pennstatehealth.psu.edu SUMMARY OF POSITION: Provides patients medications and fluids via intravenous injection. May prepare and mix solutions for intake, monitors fluid tubes and injection site, and maintains arterial catheters. Monitors medication ingestion for proper dosage and avoids potential drug complications.
The Registered Nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families.
